Sandra L. “Sandy” Dubro, age 74 of Dayton, passed away Nov. 25. Mrs. Dubro retired after 30 years from Dayton Public Schools. She was an avid tennis player. Mrs. Dubro was preceded in death by her parents, Mo and Dorothy Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Allen DuBro, children, Jeffrey (Vonnie) DuBro, Sheri (David) Alpert, Evan (Kari) DuBro, eight grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment was at Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to an Alzheimer’s Association or charity of your choice.

Sarah Itzkowitz, age 89, of Trotwood, passed away Oct. 24 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member of Beth Jacob Synagogue, a life member of its sisterhood, member of B’nai B’rith Women, The Jewish War Veteran’s Ladies Auxiliary and United Order of True Sisters. Mrs. Itzkowitz was preceded in death by her husband, Sam, in 1969, and sister and brother-in-law, Sophie and Philip Brenner. She is survived by her sons and daughers-in-law, Ronald and Sharon, Neal and Jimee, and Marvin “Buck” and friend Debbie Fuller; brother and sister-in-law, Hyman and Sylvia Blum; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Interment was at Beth Jacob Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Beth Jacob Synagogue in her memory.
