Rachel Wynne, daughter of Ron and Mindi Wynne and granddaughter of Rochelle Wynne, will intern this summer as a technical apprentice at the Hangar Theater in Ithaca, N.Y. Rachel is an active freshman in the Theatre Arts Department at Wright State University. She is currently production assistant for The Phantom of the Opera, which will be on stage at Wright State in May.

Ari Vandersluis, a junior at The Miami Valley School, was elected president of the Central Region of United Synagogue Youth. USY is the youth arm of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. CRUSY includes local chapter youth groups from parts of Indiana, all of Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Proud parents are Dr. Joel and Marci Vandersluis.

Jonah Sandler, owner of the Chaos Room in Centerville, is now in the process of opening Scene75 Entertainment Center. It will be located one exit south of the I-70, I-75 intersection, at the Benchwood/Wyse Rd. exit. “We are pushing to open this June,” Jonah said. “The facility will be an ideal venue for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, corporate parties, and everyday entertainment.” Scene75 will be twice the size of the Dave & Busters in Cincinnati, he added.
