On Feb. 11, Dayton Jewish Community Center Director Cheryl Carne announced that the DJCC’s early childhood services program received a 100-percent rating during an unannounced visit by Ohio’s early childhood licensing bureau.

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Bureau of Child Care and Development visited the DJCC’s early childhood program, at the Boonshoft CJCE in Centerville, on Feb. 10.

Audrey MacKenzie is the DJCC’s director of early childhood services.

“The 100 percent rating is a testament to the remarkable job of Audrey and her dedicated staff and teachers,” Carne said. “We are proud of their commitment in making our preschool one of the finest in the community.”

The DJCC’s early childhood services department is open to children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.

The DJCC is an agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton.
