Centerville Diversity Council program to celebrate Judaism

The Centerville-Washington Diversity Council will present Experiencing Jewish Life In America, its third annual family night out, on Thursday, March 10 from 6 -8 p.m. at the Boonshoft CJCE in Centerville.

The free program is sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton, Dayton Power and Light and the Washington-Centerville Public Library and is part of a national celebration of 350 years of Jewish life In America.

The event will include Jewish food, Israeli folk music and dancing and information about Jewish life and history.

“Learn about important events in Jewish life as well as the significant impact of Jewish writers, artists, scientists and leaders on American culture,” said event Co-Chair Jane Hochstein.

“Children will be treated to arts and crafts, face painting and story telling.”
