Jewish Dayton Community Forum on Israel and Antisemitism May 27

The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton will present JewishDayton Together: A Community Forum on Israel and Antisemitism at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 27 via Zoom.

Speakers representing the Israeli Consulate, Anti-Defamation League, and Hillel International will provide updates and talk about how the situation in Israel and Gaza has spurred increased antisemitism in our communities, on college campuses, nationwide, and across the world.

According to Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton CEO Cathy Gardner, the purpose of the forum is “to bring us together as a community, get some updates, and collectively talk about how we can provide more educational opportunities, advocate for our community, and determine actions that will make a difference.”

Dayton’s program coincides with the Day of Action Against Antisemitism presented by the ADL, American Jewish Committee, Hadassah, The Jewish Federations of North America, Orthodox Union, Reconstructing Judaism, Union for Reform Judaism, and United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism.
