Temple Israel’s Jewish Cultural Festival

Temple Israel will host its annual Jewish Cultural Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, May 31. This year’s food vendors are Smoked on Chai Kosher BBQ from Columbus, Graeter’s Ice Cream, and Temple Israel’s bakery. Temple Israel volunteers will also sell hot dogs.

The festival brings members of the general community together with members of the Jewish community to celebrate Jewish life and learn more about Jewish traditions, holidays, history, and practices.

It features entertainment, children’s activities, a petting zoo, an open-air artisan crafts market, tours of the temple, and conversations with its rabbis as they walk around the festival over the day.

The festival is held at Temple Israel, 130 Riverside Dr., Dayton. Admission is free. For details, go to tidayton.org/festival/.
